Turned out to be a faulty condenser as it had a leak and replaced/recharged under warranty. So far no more issues and over 54K on the clock now. 2012 Traverse - LTZ (White) 2013 BMW X5M. The solution is a replacement DIC. Takes about 15 minutes to switch out. You can get it serviced online for $100-200 . and you get back your unit with your mileage. Or a new one at a dealer for hundreds + labour. In my case I was able to get a low cost replacement with similar miles.
